Theatre Arts ProgramThe Theater Arts Program of University of Pennsylvania is seeking interested actors, singers, musicians, puppeteers and theater makers for its fall production of The Good Soul of Szechuan by Bertolt Brecht, directed by David O'Connor with Original Music by Pat Lamborn. Auditions will be on Wednesday, August 31 and Wednesday Sept 7 from 6-8. Callbacks as needed on September 8. Sign up for a half hour audition slot, where you will workshop with the director to create a group performance. (You can come to as many audition slots as you like! Just sign up for one) Please bring 16 bars of a song to sing, a cappella.
Project participants will enroll in THAR350. This is open to all Penn students.
Production staff positions are available, including stage manager/assistant director, assistant stage manager and light and sound board operators. Please contact Theatre Arts Creative Coordinator, Adam Riggar (ariggar@sas.upenn.edu) if you would like additional information about backstage positions. No experience is necesary for most positions.
