About 365 Days/365 Plays
Three performers take on 20+ characters in 45 minutes with a performance that asks: who controls the narrative? In 2003, playwright Suzan-Lori Parks tasked herself with writing a play a day, sometimes two. We have curated ten of those pieces to present for our 21st year at the festival – featuring goddesses, exiled kings, writers, muses, and some regular folks. By writing a play daily, Parks reflected on the year she lived and on the world at that historical moment. What is amazing is how relevant many of those reflections remain today.
Catch this fast-paced production in the Bruce Montgomery Theatre before we tour to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2025.
