THE EDINBURGH PROJECT - 2018

THAR 250.301

instructor(s):
3pm-6pm Thursday

This course will combine an intensive practical and intellectual investigation of some area of the making of theatre: performance techniques, theatrical styles, a particular period of theatre history, etc., culminating in a performance at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August. Featuring a small ensemble approach, the class will comprise readings and exercises that serve as preparation and rehearsal for production. Students will be admitted to the course by permit only; those who travel to Scotland must be available for rehearsals in May, August, and a September performance at Penn.
