Dr Marcia Ferguson directs at the 2017 Philly Fringe Festival
Dr Marcia Ferguson will direct four short plays as part of the 2017 Philly Fringe festival with Juniper Productions. Cocktail Plays will be staged at Philadelphia Distilling. The staging follows a competition through Foundary focused on roles for a specific set of actors, including a mixed race young man, a white young woman and an older African American Woman. The work of Philadelphia area playwrights Alisha Adams, Josh A. Campbell, Mark Costello and Bill D'Agostino are featured in this piece. Recent Theatre Arts graduate Grayce Hoffman will perform in Cocktail Plays, with recent Theatre Arts grad Taiwo Sokan stage managing and Theatre Arts minor Chris Haddad designing. This production was recently featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer and on Philly.com and chosen as a "must-see" by Time Out Philadelphia in this article. and in the Philly Review.
