About the Play

Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. With contemporary characters, plot twists, and a script written to be a playground for designers, the play is a fresh look at a timeless story.

About Theatre Arts 3500 (a credit-bearing course)

Theatre Arts 3500: Rehearsal and Performance is designed to provide students with deep intellectual and artistic immersion in the theatrical process through intensive research, rehearsal, and performance of a full-length stage piece. Students may enroll in this course as actors through audition, or as stage managers, dramaturgs, or assistant stage managers—other non-credit bearing positions, such as board operator and running crew, with accordingly fewer hours of commitment, are available as well. Please feel free to speak to the director about these opportunities, if interested.
